Peter Brown
Former Chief Dealer and Head of the Treasury Team in Barclays Bank; Peter Brown is Co-Founder of the Irish Institute of Financial Trading. Peter gained his extensive trading knowledge working in Citi Bank, Banque National de Paris, Ulster Bank and ten years in Barclays trading bonds, futures, FX and derivatives.
Peter is the main lecturer in IIFT. His daily interaction with students along with his continuous mentoring and supervision of trading is what distinguishes our courses from the rest of the market. Peter develops student trading skills and techniques and has a great insight into the psychology of trading gained over many years of building trading teams. It is the rapport he develops with students that instils confidence in trading.

Tomás Agnew
Former Senior Broker and Manager of the Foreign Exchange desk in Money Markets International, Tomás is Managing Director of the Irish Institute of Financial Trading.
He began his career with Barclays Bank, before working with Money Markets International (formerly known as Astley and Pierce Ireland) and Caradas Money Brokers.
Bryan Noble
Bryan is a resident trader at the Irish Institute of Financial Trading. Having professionally traded on his own since 1995, he comes to the table with ample knowledge of the markets, excellent methods to use and mistakes to avoid.
Bryan’s main focus is teaching the macroview of the markets. Bryan wisely commends trading as a very rewarding career but like anything else, a serious amount of research and reading must be in your daily routine. Bryan will be the main host of the morning meetings.
Bryan favours the Euro currency versus the dollar; the S&P; the DOW, FTSE and the DAX. Occasionally, he trades commodities and bond markets.
Vincent Hogan
Vincent is our Economic Analyst having trained as a trader with the Irish Institute of Financial Trading. He is also a University lecturer in Economics.
Vincent mixes both his economic analytical skills with the IIFT techniques to give great insights into the economic world for trading.
Through the correct training Vincent has become a successful trader.
Niall O’Connor
Niall trained as an Engineer before learning to trade with the IIFT. He now trades full time and also lectures in the IIFT.
Niall completed a BEng Tech Degree in Robotics/Automation and also a BEng Degree in Manufacturing Engineering. He has worked for Henkel Loctite Ireland and Caterpillar of Australia before committing to trading full-time.
Niall’s lectures focus on combining multiple areas of trading for successful performance, with a heavy emphasis on Risk Assessment and Advanced Technical Analysis.
