Good morning,

One thing to remember in all this talk about coming “off zero” in the US is that the day the US does finally see the Fed raise rates will be a valedictory day. It will mean that unorthodox monetary policy has worked. To escape from a “liquidity trap” using monetary policy alone is quite an achievement. So rather than fear the day, the market should welcome it!

Let’s examine the FOMC in that context.
